

Prostate Cancer Symptoms
Early stages of prostate cancer may not elicit any symptoms. Symptoms can increase as the tumor increases in size and grows towards the urethra. Symptoms may include:
- Difficulty starting urine flow
- Difficulty stopping the urine flow
- Decrease in size and force of stream
- Urgency to urinate
- Increase in frequency of urination
- Unable to completely empty bladder
- Pain or burning during urination
- Blood in the urine
- Painful ejaculation
- Trouble getting an erection
- Loss of bowel control
- Blood in the semen
These symptoms may be caused by other medical conditions. Diagnostic tests will determine their underlying cause.
