A research team at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, Hamilton Health Sciences, and McMaster University has recently published their new book, "Evidence-Based Orthopedics, 2nd Edition" (Wiley, ISBN: 978-1-119-41393-6).

The book, which includes hundreds of collaborators worldwide, offers an up-to-date review of the best evidence for the diagnosis, management, and treatment of orthopaedic conditions. It covers orthopaedic surgery as well as pre- and post-operative complications. This comprehensive guide provides recommendations for implementing evidence-based practice in the clinical setting, and is part of Wiley's "Evidence-Based Medicine" series.

Edited by Dr. Mohit Bhandari at McMaster, with St. Joe's orthopaedic resident, Dr. Seper Ekhtiari, as managing editor.

Dr. Moin Khan (middle) is an associate editor, and St. Joe's authors include Dr. Kim Madden (right), Dr. Anthony Adili, Dr. Vickas Khanna (left), Dr. Harsha Shanthanna, fellow Dr. Carlos Prada, and physician assistant Habeeb Khan.

Congratulations to the Orthopaedic research team on this accomplishment! A copy is available in St. Joe's Charlton library.
