Dr. Parameswaran Nair is a respirologist and respirology researcher at the Firestone Clinic at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. His research focuses on developing and applying non-invasive measurements of airway inflammation in the treatment of severe asthma and COPD. This year, the Asthma Society of Canada named Dr. Nair as the third recipient of the Bastable-Potts Asthma Research Award.
