About the Innovation Think Tank (ITT):
The Innovation Think Tank (ITT) is a part of the Chief Technology Office of Siemens Healthineers. Driven by the need for interdisciplinary and self-sustaining innovation infrastructures, ITT was established in 2005. The global ITT infrastructure includes multiple innovation labs and programs across Germany, China, India, Turkey, Canada, United States, United Arab Emirates, and United Kingdom, addressing projects from various Siemens Healthineers locations. The program success and recognition led to the establishment of ITT locations at prestigious healthcare institutions and universities.
On invitation from hospital groups and universities, ITT implements “Innovation Think Tank Certification Program” where participants (hospital management, doctors, medical staff, researchers, students etc.) are given training on “Innovation Management Methodology” by Prof. Sultan Haider and the ITT team. Assigned teams work on specific local institutional challenges and propose solutions to a panel of regional key opinion leaders. Based on availability, participants can also be given the opportunity of ITT fellowship positions globally.
