Research / Information for New Researchers

Get Involved

As research is vital to the continual improvement of care that our patients receive, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton welcomes staff, learners, volunteers and members of the community to get involved in research.

If you are a student looking to get involved in research at St. Joe's, please head to the learners page for more information.

Research HELP

Research HELP (Health Enquiry Learning Panel) is a series of ‘lunch-and-learn’ sessions held quarterly for staff members interested in research.  Participants present their research plans and ideas to a panel of research experts in order to receive tailored advice, guidance and support.

Please contact Laura Garrick ( for more questions about upcoming Research HELP sessions.
